A Summer For Love Blog Hop #SummerForLoveHop

The temperature is rising. It's time for Summer Love. One of my favorite, romantic summertime activities is dining alfresco with my sweetie. We have a table for two in the garden under an umbrella. Add a special tablecloth and table setting, candles, and a favorite meal. There you have it--a perfect evening.

What is your idea of a perfect, romantic evening?

Summer is also an opportunity to enjoy some Hot Reads. Do you like Scottish hunks? Vampires? Shifters? The hero of Sea Panther is all three. The Ultimate Tortured Hero.

"spine tingling tension from several different subplots keeps the reader shivering in anticipation" ~Night Owl Reviews Top Pick

After evading arrest for Jacobite activities, Scottish nobleman Robert MacLachlan turns privateer. A Caribbean Voodoo priestess curses him to an eternal existence as a vampire shifter torn between the dual natures of a Florida panther and an immortal blood-thirsting man. For centuries, he seeks to reverse the black magic whilst maintaining his honor. Cruising the twenty-first century Atlantic, he becomes shorthanded to sail his 90-foot yacht, Sea Panther. The last thing he wants is a female crewmember and the call of her blood.

Although she swore never to sail again after her father died in a sailing accident, Kimberly Scot answers the captain's crew wanted ad to escape a hit man. She's lost everything, her fiancé, her job, and most of her money, along with money belonging to her ex-clients. A taste of Kimberly's blood convinces Robert she is the one woman who can claim the panther's heart. To break the curse, they travel back in time to where it all began—Jamaica 1715.

If you could shift into another creature, real or mythical, what would it be?

  2. Perfect summer evening would be after the kids are asleep, out on the back porch in the calm, quiet, summer country evening. And, what mythical creature....so many to choose from, I don't know which one to pick.

    1. Hello, Angela Christina! Your perfect summer evening sounds wonderful. Hope you find the time this summer to partake. :) It is hard to decide what one creature to change into isn't it. Mine is a dragon. But perhaps a gift that allowed for shifting into what ever creature struck your fancy at any time is in order. :)
